Mabel Aliria Medina

Mabel Aliria Medina passed away in her home at the age of 83 on June 7,2020. She was born in San Acacio, CO to George T. Sanchez and Delfina M. Martinez. Mabel is survived by her husband Rudolph Medina of San Francisco, CO of 64 years. Mabel also is survived by her three children Rudy Medina, Debbie (Gelo) Batres , Sophia (Larry) Bower, all of Colorado Springs, and three brothers- Richard (Gloria) Sanchez of Albuquerque NM, Billy (Maggie) Sanchez of Colorado Springs, CO, Virgil (Vicki) Sanchez of Denver, CO. 13 grandchildren- Lydia Ruiz-Lozano, Julian Juvera (Stephanie Littrell), Jason Medina, Analicia Gonzalez (Diego Gonzalez), Antonnio Bower, Adriana Batres (Rodney Tamarang), Natalie Medina, Guadalupe Bates (Dante Vigil), Alex Castillo. 9.5 Great Grandchildren- Damon Ruiz-Lozano, James Castro, Hope Littrell, Kayden Medina, Amilyana Gonzalez, Ezekiel Ortiz, Auvrianna Bower, Giovanny Gonzalez, baby Juvera on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. Mabel preceded in death by her mom Delfina Sanchez, dad George Sanchez, brothers Art Sanchez and Freddy-Johnny Sanchez, daughter Baby Medina, granddaughter Nelly Padilla-Hernandez. Mabel enjoyed spending time with her husband “Viejo” and family. She was actively involved with activities with senior citizens and loved watching telenovelas. One of her favorite activities was gambling at cripple creek. Mabel was very kind, welcomed everybody and was extremely loved by many.
