Joshua Lloyd Limes Obituary

In loving memory May 06, 2020 Joshua Lloyd Limes, 34 died in San Bernardino, California.

Joshua was born on October 29, 1985 in Fountain Valley hospital in California, born to his mother, Lori Lyons and his father Michael Limes. Joshua is the youngest of four children. His brother Corey Balogh, his sister Amanda Balogh-Stansell and his brother Matthew Limes. Joshua’s family extended to eleven nieces and nephews. His grandparents Arlene and Lloyd Limes, and his significant other Maria.

Joshua was born on his sister’s birthday, she was hoping for a sister! Growing up, the boys would play the game “Magic” and collect baseball and football cards. Joshua had one of the largest collections of matchbox cars, and matchbox mini’s. Of course Joshua was the only one out of the three boys that would play Barbie’s with his sister. The three boys would spend their time riding bikes (running into mailboxes), playing Nintendo and pitching baseballs (at my car).

We moved around California, but ended up in Tacoma, Washington were Joshua attended Mount Tahoma high school. Later, Joshua obtained his G.E.D.

Of course, on his last visit to Medford, a family Thanksgiving 2018, as adults they were all gathered at the table playing a round of Magic. Joshua’s favorite football team being Green Bay, there was a lot of dirt talk at the table with his siblings and family them being 49er and Seahawk fans!

Joshua’s grandfather and great uncle would call him J.L. the chairman of the board. I of course called him Joshie, at times Joshua Lloyd! He also went by “Cricket.”

Joshua was known for his contagious laugh, big smile, warm heart and the gift of gab! Joshua’s favorite saying what’s Crrrrrack-alackin’

In 2017 Joshua lived at the Hacienda Christian life campus in Perris, California. Where Joshua made many friends, sung in the choir, and worked with Gods Helping Hands ministries as a truck driver picking up donations for the church. I am thankful that all of them were a part of Joshua’s life.

He worked for Pallet service in Washougal, WA. Also as a materials handler for K&N filters, and as a field marketing reprehensive for California showcase construction.  He worked as house manager at a board and care home.

Joshua was in N.A. and joined the baseball team. He loved to play baseball and for the team, their friendships were valued.

Your thoughts and prayers have been a comfort to our family in such a difficult time as a loss of our loved one. Your generous donation will always be remembered by our family. It gives us comfort to know that Joshua is walking with God, where there is no suffering, no pain, and he is at peace.

Joshua, My mind still talks to you, My heart still looks for you, But my soul knows you are at peace. I love you, Mom.
