Clyde Raymond Anderson, Jr., 63, of Republic, died Sunday evening, January 22, 2017 at UP Health System Marquette. He was born October 14, 1953 in Ishpeming, a son of Clyde R. and Jane C. (Lindala) Anderson, Sr. and was a 1971 graduate of Champion High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam war. Clyde's various jobs led him to live and work in communities throughout the country. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting & fishing and was a member of Norm's Bar pool league team for many years. He will be remembered by his family for his quick wit and ability to tell a good story or joke. Clyde is survived by his longtime love and life partner, June Prusi of Republic; daughter, Erin Anderson of Nevada; father, Clyde (Marie Dumoulin) Anderson, Sr. of Humboldt; grandchild, Ethan; June's children, Bryan (Sherry) Prusi of Ishpeming, Seth Prusi of Sault Ste. Marie and Jordan Prusi of Republic; brother, Charles Anderson of Sault Ste. Marie; sisters, Kathleen (Roger) Kitchen of Pequaming, Patricia Anderson of Humboldt and Julia Anderson of Harvey; sister-in-law, Olivia Anderson of Washington; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Jack. A private graveside service will be held in the spring in the Humboldt Cemetery.
