It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Kevin Joseph Edmunds on June 6, 2020. Peter was a passionate husband, brother, father, grandfather and trucker. He was the best friend and husband of Wendy Edmunds, father to Christopher (Terra), Michael (Ally), and Daniel (Micha).  Son of George & Jeannette Edmunds (predeceased). Brother to Herb (Denise)- North Bay, Bob (Linda)- Fort McMurray, and John (Peter) -Toronto.  He was a devoted Papa and will be sadly missed by Alec, Brynn, Peyton, Annorah, Jorja, Hunter and Lucas. Peter will also be missed by many friends, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and trucker buddies.

Peter enjoyed his job as a truck driver, getting to see the country from a front row seat with a window view in Canada and United States. He had over 45 years driving experience on the road for different companies and as the owner/ operator of Young Pups Trucking. He could tell you great stories for all those years. He was an easy conversationalist who could instantly make anyone feel at home in his presence.  Quick with a joke and sound effects and always putting his foot in his mouth and bringing joy to whomever would listen everywhere he went.  He has departed on his last long haul to heaven, to be with his parents.  He loved taking pictures and chatting with his cousin Brian on his down time.  He was always there to help people & family when needed.

A special ceremony will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.

Donation to Health Sciences North in Sudbury, or North Bay Health Centre or to Cassellholme for the Ages North Bay would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
