<p>&nbsp;.</p> <p>Austin Lamar DeMars passed away unexpectedly June 6, 2020.</p> <p>Austin&rsquo;s life was full of love, friendship, ambition and a he was a constant joy to his family. He was beloved by many people and will be deeply missed. His joy in life was visible by his great smile and quickness to laugh.</p> <p>Austin was born in Kalispell, Montana on February 3, 2000 to Carroll DeMars and Kara Chapman. As soon as he could walk he wanted a ball in his hand and always loved sports. He played basketball, baseball, and football, but his love was football. In 2018 he graduated from Flathead High School. He continued his education at Flathead Community College, and was planning to travel to California in the fall to continue school and play football.</p> <p>Austin loved his friends, family, teammates and community and will always be remembered as caring and committed. He served the community working in programs reading to children and encouraging children to be active and engaged in sports. He held a high standard for himself as an athlete and a solid citizen. To his family he was a light and a shining example of joy.</p> <p>He is survived by his father and stepmother Carroll and Nikki DeMars and his mother and stepfather Brock and Kara Chapman, his brothers Chauncey, Jackson, Ashton and sister Rebekah, step brother Caiyou, and step sister Jada. Austin&rsquo;s family is too large to mention here; many cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and his great grandpa Carroll LaVanway.</p> <p>The family is planning a Celebration of life Saturday June 20 at 2:00 pm, at 735 Griz Lane in Marion.&nbsp;</p>

Austin Lamar DeMars passed away unexpectedly June 6, 2020.

Austin’s life was full of love, friendship, ambition and a he was a constant joy to his family. He was beloved by many people and will be deeply missed. His joy in life was visible by his great smile and quickness to laugh.
