Zachary Heath Phillips
<p> </p> <p>Sophia</p> <p>Mr. Zachary Heath Phillips, 23, of Old Marlboro Road, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his residence.</p> <p>Zachary was born on July 7, 1996 to Michael Phillips and Lora Aultman Gasque in Davidson County. He graduated from Randleman High School, class of 2014, and then served his country in the United States Army. Zachary enjoyed hunting and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He will be remembered for his bright personality, and contagious smile. He genuinely loved his friends, his dog Shelby, and his family very much. He was preceded in death by his mother and paternal grandparents.</p> <p>Surviving are his loving father, Michael Phillips and wife Leslie of Trinity; step father, Tony Gasque of Summerfield; a sister, Sydney Gasque of Sophia; companion, Hannah Phillips of Sophia; step brother, Michael Hill of TX; maternal grandparents, Shirley Trivett, Joe and Betty Aultman all of Thomasville; aunts and uncles, JJ Shelley of VA, Donna and Randy Farlow, Carolyn Hill all of Sophia, Pam and Marty Howard, Joann and Jeff Scarlett all of Lexington; several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family. Also surviving are his close group of brothers, Clayton Farlow, Jonathan Rhymer, Jeffery Rhymer, Jerry Rhymer, Stetson Haynes, Chase Lambert, and many others.</p> <p>A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends following the committal at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
