Judy Anne Edmunds Obituary

It's me, Judy Anne Edmunds, nee Sheaves (among a few others). If you're reading this, it means I lost, but I went down swinging. I don't want to talk myself up, but I was a pretty interesting and knowledgeable individual. I wasn't good at stuff, but I was smart at things. I stayed true to myself, and encouraged others to do the same. I had the some of best stories and advice, told the truth to a fault, never sat on a couch I didn't want to buy, never wrote a check I couldn't cash, and never said anything I wouldn't stand beside. I lived through many lives, with experiences both horrific and prolific. I lived my life by my own rules, and I have no regrets or apologies. Only love and appreciation for all I was given. I loved my husband Charles with a passion that words cannot define. The devotion and compassion he showed me until my dying breath, is more than any woman could have ever asked in a partner. He was the light of my life, and showed me what it is to truly love and be loved, without abandon. I had 7 kids who called me mom, made me proud and loved me deeply, Monica MacNeil (Roger) Port aux Basques, Lenny Clarke (Lisa) Oshawa, Ont, Tony Edmunds (Candy) Petawawa Ont, Charleston Ingram (Floyd) Tracy NB, Becca (Jon) Port aux Basques, Cody Clarke(Becky) Leduc, Ab and Sheena Howell (Gavin) Corner Brook, 13 amazing grandchildren, Meriah, Sam, Matt (Allison), Dawson, Tyson (Marley), Jay, Natalie, Angus, Sophie, Landynn, Abby, Savannah, Caliegh, and Brooke, and 4 beautiful Great Grand Children Tesla, Raiya, Dustin, and yet to be born baby Zayden. I take strength in knowing I'll be seeing my mother and father, Jim and Becky Sheaves, and laughing again with my brother Doug, my niece Vanessa, my friends, Donalda and Ruth, son in law Mitch, and the others I have all lost along the way. I'll cherish the times I spent with my brothers and sisters, Dave (Janet) Sheaves, Ken (Josie) Sheaves, Jerry (Cathy) Sheaves, Loretta (Ivan), Cynthia (Wilson), Cecil (Mary Ellen), Jim (Kay), Michelle (Bill), Dwayne (Roxanne), and Manuel, all my nieces and nephews, and their beautiful children. In keeping with Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place. Due to the current Co-vid 19 restrictions, there will not be a visitation or funeral service at this time; a “Celebration of Life” and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. May God bless and keep you always May your wishes all come true May you always do for others And let others do for you. ~Bob Dylan
