Traci Lynn McDermott, 37, of Totawa, NJ, died Thursday, May 21, 2020 at her home. Born July 9, 1982 in Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of Robert McDermott of Berwick and the late Linda (Pisano) McDermott. A graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Schuylkill Haven, Class of 2000, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Music from West Chester University. In her early years, she was a music teacher. A talented and well-rounded musician, she played five different instruments, specializing in the saxophone. In addition to her father, Traci is survived by her uncle and aunt, Gandolfo and Denise Christodaro of East Islip, NY. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut Street, Berwick, with the Very Rev. Francis J. Tamburro, VF of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Berwick, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, 320 West Second Street, Berwick, PA 18603. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., Berwick.
