Anthony Hatzlhoffer of New Providence, NJ passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 4, 2020 at the age of 74. Private funeral services are under the direction of Paul Ippolito Memorial. Anthony was born in Linden, NJ to Mary (Sellner) and Kasper Hatzlhoffer. Anthony was a proud American and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later met and married his beloved wife, Patricia and raised their family in New Providence. His greatest joy was when he was surrounded by family and friends. Anthony worked as a machinist at C.R. Bard in New Providence for 23 years. He then started his own business, Fix-A-Home, Inc for 23 years and recently retired from On Demand Machinery in Elizabeth, NJ. Anthony was an active member of the of the National Adventurers Association where he served a term as president and enjoyed going to the cabins in Maine for 48 years. He had a passion for music- especially records and 45s, and he was a former member of the T-Bird Club and a classic car collector. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia L. (nee Smith), his loving son Anthony J. Hatzlhoffer II and daughter in law, Carol, daughters Lauren N. Hatzlhoffer and Lisa L. Castellano, grandsons Anthony J Hatzlhoffer III, Ryan Hatzlhoffer, Anthony Castellano, granddaughter Daniella Castellano, Siblings: Casper Harris, Mary Potempa, Frank Hatzlhoffer, Margaret Roman, Bernadette Henninger, and many nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his sister, Christina Morrison and his brother, Joseph Hatzlhoffer.  In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in Anthony’s memory to the Community Service Association of New Providence 360 Elkwood Avenue, New providence, NJ 07974 or at <a href="http://www.csanewprovidence.org/">www.csanewprovidence.org</a>
