M. James "Jim" Elliott Obituary

Mr. Mervyn "James" Elliott, formerly of Carievale, passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Estevan, SK. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 89.

Jim was born on December 3, 1930 in the Elmore District and lived most of his life on the family farm working closely with his two brothers.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman and Elsie (Cross) Elliott; infant brother, Harry; brothers, Ken and Maurice; and very special little niece, Jaylene Elliott.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Dolores and Ruby; nephew, Barry (Joanne); nieces, Brenda (Dave), Sheila, and Bonnie. Uncle Jim is also survived by his great and great-great nieces and nephews who meant so much to him: Carri-Lee and Cory Rutten (Liam, and Keira), Ryan and Missy Hull (Dylan, and Karlee), Trent Elliott and Justine (Karissa, Daylan, Koden, Josh, Ace, and Everly), Darren and Lacee Elliott (Lennox, and Braylee), Becky and Geoff Powell (Wes, and Fergus), Jeremy and Trina Fisher (Remy), Cayley and Brenton Reimer (Kennedy, and Halle).

A private family graveside service was held at the Workman Cemetery. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at a later date.
