<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Barbara Jean (Reese) Love</span></em></span></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Barbara Jean Love, age 69, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her bedside. Barbara was born March 8, 1951 in New Oxford, PA to James and Ethel (Naill) Reese. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 47 years, Samuel Love; her son, Sammy; siblings, David (Kathleen) Reese and Linda (the late Jack) Cowell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Reese; and sister-in-law, Dolores Reese. Barbara was a quiet, kind, and gentle soul. The simple pleasures in life brought her much happiness. She was a longtime member of Faith Bible Baptist Church and felt a personal relationship with God, her faith, and Rev. Gary LaPietra. She loved growing plants and flowers, as did her mother. She also enjoyed family gatherings, word puzzles, and relaxing on her front porch swing. Her two cats, Bootsy and Peanut, had a special place in her heart. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Ceremony at 10 a.m. at Faith Bible Baptist Church, 150 Curry Ave, Turtle Creek, PA 15145. Rev. Gary LaPietra will be officiating. Burial will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. The church is adhering to all CDC guidelines for the services, and ask that all in attendance respect others with social distancing and by wearing a face covering. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
