Judy Kaye Fallo
Kremlin – Long-time Kremlin resident Judy Fallo, 73, passed away peacefully at home on May 23 after a long struggle with brain cancer. A service will be held at Community Church of Gildford on Friday, May 29. Viewing will be at 12pm and a service at 1pm. Interment will be attended by family and close friends. We will be practicing social distancing and the service will be streamed live on Wilderness Funeral Homes Facebook page. Judy Kaye Havskjold was born October 29, 1946, to Knute and Marie Havskjold. She attended Kremlin School and graduated from Dakota Lutheran Academy in 1964, then moved to Texas where she attended LeTourneau College. While studying Missionary Tech, she met her future husband, Edward Fallo. She went on to earn her RN license in 1969 from Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis. She and Eddie married in Kremlin, MT in 1970, and they moved to Houston, TX where she worked at St. Luke's Hospital with high-risk newborns in the neonatal unit, an experience she found both rewarding and challenging and led to her study of midwifery for three years at Frontier Nursing Service in Hyden, KY. After starting their family, Judy and Eddie traveled to Canada's Yukon Territory with SEND International as a church planting team. She ministered in leading Sunday School and both taught and performed music in the community. Her best work was reflected in the love and energy she brought to being a mother and wife. In 1986, the family returned to Kremlin, MT, where they lived with Judy's mother on the family farm. This would be Judy's home for 34 years until her passing. She was a member of Gildford Baptist Church along with Eddie, who served as pastor for 25 years. She especially enjoyed her women's Bible groups, her music ministry leadership, and working with children. She and Eddie provided music for many community events around Montana. Judy will be remembered for her music, storytelling, her infectious laugh, her love of all things gardening, baking, quilting, and making things beautiful, her love of family, and steadfast faith. She is survived by her husband, a sister Karen (Larry) Atwood of Minot, ND, her children Wendy (Dan) Wilkinson of Great Falls, MT, Amy (Brice) Roncace of Nampa, ID, Joey (Megan) Fallo of Lewistown, MT, and five grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to the charity of your choice or to Gideon's Int'l, PO Box 97251, Washington D.C. 20090. The family would like to express special thanks to Angel Care and Bear Paw Hospice and the many dear friends who have been a support in her long illness.
