Mr. Edmond Christopher “Eddie” Wiseman, age 49, of Mauckport, IN, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at his residence.  Eddie was a Deck Hand on a Towboat for many years and found the most peace when he was on the river.  He had a passion for woodworking and restoring old furniture.

            Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Vic Wiseman and Shirley Ann Givans Arocho; his maternal grandparents, Daymon and Virginia Givans; and a brother, Timothy McGuire.  He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Penny Flannery; two children, Brian (Kaitlyn) Wiseman and Savannah (Cody) Wiseman; four grandchildren, Kadince Lynn Wiseman, Colton James Riley, Leland Wayne Chase Wiseman and Jonah Hamilton Estes; seven siblings, Donald (Jamie) McGuire, Stacey (Latisha) McGuire, Jackie (Wes) Schroader, Ina Faye Allen, Charity (Virgil) Shelton, James Lee (Sherry) Allen and Lisa Jo Cox.

            Funeral Services will be privately held for Eddie’s immediate family due to capacity restrictions.  The service will be streamed online to Hager Funeral Home’s Facebook page, beginning at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2020.  Visitation will be held for the public from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday.  Online condolences may be left at www.hagerfuneralhome.com.
