Ruth "Grandma Ruth" R. Neal
<p> Ruth Rebecca Neal “Grandma Ruth”, daughter of the late Lucy and Otha Neal, Sr., was born January 11, 1943 in Louisburg, North Carolina. She attended Perry’s High School and worked as a farm girl until adulthood, when she began to work outside of the home. She was a great provider and a loving mother. </p> <p> Ruth received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and became a member of the Haywood Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death.</p> <p> Ruth was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Lizzie Wright and Mollie Neal, her parents, Otha and Lucy Neal, Sr., three sisters, Sarah, Susan, and Gladys; six brothers, Otha, Jr., William, Otis, James, Howard, and Hezekiah, Jr. and one son, Rendell along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.</p> <p> She leaves to cherish her memory: Joe R. Smith of Louisburg, NC; four daughters, Lizzie (Jeffery) and Lonie both of Warrenton, NC, Helen Neal of Louisburg, NC, Barbara (Bernard) and Sheila (Kevin) of Henderson, NC; two sons, Joseph, Sr. (Angela) and James (Tereatha); six sisters, Edith (Eddie) and LouElla both of Louisburg, NC, Alice (James) of Youngsville, NC, Lucy (Therox) and Erma both of Henderson, NC; three brothers, Joseph (Barbara), Claude (Brenda), and Eddie (Jessie) all of Henderson, NC; eleven grandchildren, Keith, Daniel, Shanika, Jessica, Demetrice, Sasha, Kassic, Nicholas, Joseph, Jr., Rendell, Jr., and Terrance; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one son-in-law, Bobby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones and friends.</p> <p> She is greatly loved and will surely be missed, but none will love her more than our Father God and our Lord Christ Jesus, who will preserve and keep her until we meet again.
