<p>Brother Lloyd B. Brown, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana was born July 7, 1927 in Plaquemine, Louisiana to the parents of Ms. Odelia Williams and Mr. Kater Brown. Mr. Brown was baptized by Reverend Gerard A. Robinson, Sr. at McKowen Missionary Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, La. where he was a faithful member for many years. Mr. Brown was a proud retired State Employee of The Port of Greater Baton Rouge.</p> <p>Brother Lloyd B. Brown departed life on June 1, 2020 at the age of 92. He was a devoted husband of 70 years to Mrs. Wilma S. Brown and a proud father of 6 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Most affectionately, he shared a loving, caring, kind-hearted, and gentle spirit to our family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and watching his favorite football team, The New Orleans Saints.</p> <p>Brother Lloyd B. Brown was survived by his loving wife Mrs. Wilma Spriggs Brown, his sister Mattie Lecoq of New Orleans, La., his daughters Lois E. Brown, Cheryl L. Brown, Mary P. Brown, Marsha Y. Mills (Kevin Mills), Myra Y. Brown, his cherished son-in-law Edward L. Fort, a host of nieces and nephews, special friends Mr. Earl &amp; Irene Feast, special friends Mrs. Gilda and the late Joseph &ldquo;JY&rdquo; Shropshire, special friends and family of Loretta Sanders and the late Ms. Rosemary Lard, and special friend Mr. J. Mitch Williams.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Brother Lloyd B. Brown was preceded in death by his mother Ms. Odelia Williams, his father Kater Brown, and his daughter Ms. Deborah Ann BrownLee.</p>
