BONNIE MAE GRANT MCALISTER Oakway- Bonnie Mae Grant McAlister, 85, passed away June 1, 2020 at Lakeview Assisted Living, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Albert W. Grant and Nancy Isabell Bice Grant. Bonnie was employed at Jantzen as a seamstress for 46 years. Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid gardener. Bonnie is survived by son, Steve Anthony Grant (Martha) of Oakway; daughter, Deborah Lynn Farley (Mike) of Oakway; brother, Richard Grant of Oakway; sisters, Clara Blackwell of Oakway and Nellie Grace Durham of Oakway; grandchildren, Brittany Grant of Seneca, Amber Baty (Richard) of Walhalla and Brandon Farley of Oakway; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Ruth Grant, Mary Carter and Linda Murray. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at Oakway Wesleyan Church Cemetery. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at 362 Grant Rd Westminster, SC 29693.
