Carlton McCain

Carlton McCain of Covington, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at the age of 80. Mr. McCain proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A dedicated man, he retired from Bellsouth as an electrical engineer, after many years, and was a Mason at the Lovejoy Lodge. Mr. McCain was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and collecting coins and baseball cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton and Nannie McCain; first wife, Mildred McCain. <br> <br> Survivors include his wife, Betty McCain. <br> <br> A private graveside service for Mr. McCain will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30303. <br> <br> Due to the current COVID-19, and coronavirus pandemic recommendations, the family regrets that the services must be private.
