Walter Roy Reynolds, 82, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was born February 10,1938 in Porterdale, GA. Roy was a longtime resident of Athens, GA and a graduate of Athens High School, Class of 1956. He served in the United States Army and retired from the US Postal Service and later from the University of GA Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry, daughter Joy, parents Walter and Alice Reynolds, and sister Ann Breese. He is survived by his son Johnny, grandchildren Wendy Barnett and Chris Barnett, twin brother William Roscoe (Bill) Reynolds and wife Lynn, several nieces and nephews. Roy will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.Obituary
