Elsie Lou Riddick
Elsie Lou Riddick (nee: Christopher) 94, of Grafton passed away Friday May 29, 2020 at Southwest General Hospice in Middleburg Heights following a long illness. She was born January 1, 1926 in Duncan, OK. Elsie’s greatest love was her family who considered her the best grandma and mom! Survivors include two daughters; Donna Burdick (Bruce) of Elyria, Carol Clark (James) of Grafton, four sons; Ernest Ray (the late Sue) of Columbia Station, Kirby (Linda) of Las Vegas, NV., Charles (Michele ) of Grafton, Christopher (Emily) of Oberlin, additional survivors include fifteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, two sisters; Alta Piearcy of Warner, OK., Ruth Houston of Valiant, OK., and a brother; Earl Christopher of Arkansas. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Lee, a son Earl Wayne, and her parents; George Madison and Minnie Mae (nee: Campbell) Christopher. Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 (SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WILL APPLY IN THE FUNERAL HOME) Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday June 3, 2020 at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
