William Franklin Quinalty

William Franklin Quinalty, age 95 of Seminole, departed this life on earth Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Seminole, OK. He was born to the late Dess Quinalty and Ethel Littreal December 6,1924 in Boonville, Arkansas. The family moved to Seminole County in 1930 from Arkansas. He married Lorene McGinnis, June 1, 1946 in Seminole. William was self-employed welder and worked in the oilfield.<br /><br />William was a very active member of Gleaners Holiness Church serving as song leader. He loved riding four wheelers, going camping, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and Church family. He served in the US Army during World War II July 1943 until January 1946 , earning four Bronze Service Stars, Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Theater Ribbon, <br />Serving at Normandy Northern France Rhineland Ground Combat as Cannoneer 608 Marksman Rifle.<br /><br />Preceding William in death are his parents, on sister Juanita Lee, brothers Jim ,Floyd, Virgil, John, Louie Quinalty and one great-grandchild Darrell Keith Blanton.<br /><br />Survivors include his wife Lorene of seventy-three years, two sons Jimmy Quinalty and wife Carol of Prague, OK, Keith Quinalty and wife Cindy of Cromwell, OK, daughter, Lawana Hulsey and husband Ray of Lebanon, MO; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.<br /><br />Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 5, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry Chesser and Pastor Tony Chesser officiating, and burial to follow at Little Cemetery.<br /><br />Pall Bearers will be Allen Harris, Matthew Quinalty, Brian Hulsey, Les Quinalty, Baron Quinalty, and Dayton Blanton.<br /><br />Honorary pall bearers will Darrell Blanton, Donavon Quinalty and Doc Duvall.<br /><br />Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home<br />
