Gloria Hendrix

1948-2020

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. 

On the evening of Thursday, May 28, 2020 Gloria Hendrix passed away at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 72 years. 

Gloria was a true lover of the outdoors; fishing and hunting were amongst her favourites.  More recently, Gloria enjoyed the special time spent with her children and their families and the opportunity to provide even more lasting memories. 

Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sheila (Craig) Jensen, Monique Pequin (Ralph Olson) and Roger (Julie) Pequin; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, sister Velma Turtiak and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

For those who so desire, memorial donations in Gloria’s name may be made directly to the Fish and Game Association, 13045 – 156 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5V 0A2.   

A tremendous “thank you” to Dr. Ryan White and Dr. Cody Thompson and all of their support staff at the hospital for the wonderful care provided to Gloria and for the compassion shown to her family.
