Elizabeth "Beth" Lemmon Nielson, 95, passed away May 29, 2020 at her home in Richfield with her loving family by her side. She was born in Silver City, Utah April 22, 1925 to Jack and Verna Bradfield Lemmon. She graduated in May of 1944 from Tintic High School in Eureka, Utah. She married Rulon Julander Nielson on February 14, 1945 and was sealed in the Provo Temple May 7, 1985. He preceded her in death April 11, 1982.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Beth held many positions. She was a hard worker and an amazing woman. She had a beautiful garden and beautiful flowers. She loved going to the mountains. She cleaned homes and businesses like the Richfield Reaper, Richfield Floral and was a janitor at Richfield Commercial Bank and Valley Central Bank. She was also a cook at Ashman Elementary. She loved going to the Cowboy Corral Café and she was a member of Sevier Music Player and Dance Group. She enjoyed piecing and tying quilts. She had a special friend-like-sister in June Jensen and on their birthdays they would go to Provo for lunch and shopping. She was a fan of the Utah Jazz.

She is survived by her children: Jenavie Johnson Ricksecker, Richfield; Jerald (Sandra) Nielson, Redmond; Dorothy Inez (Jim) Lindsey, Lynndyl; Maxine (Ward) Nielson, Monroe; adopted children: Dale Barney, Bonnie (Bill) Lee; daughter-in-law, Ida May Nielson; 19 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband; son Larry Rulon Nielson; sons-in-law: Dan Spencer Johnson, Albert Ricksecker Jr.; parents; 6 brothers and 3 sisters; a great-granddaughter, Lexi Nielson.

Our family extends a special thanks to the entire hospice staff who took such loving care of our mother during her final days of mortality. We love you Mom and we will miss you.

Family funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
