Howard Francis was Born on June 15, 1963 in Cudworth, SK and passed away on May 27, 2020 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 56. Howard is lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Judy; his son Emil; his daughter Alicia Denis (son-in-law Eric and grandchildren Gabrielle, Damien, Evelyn, and John); his son Mitchel (daughter-in-law Meagan and grandchildren Haleigh, Lexi, and Carter); his siblings: Jerry (Diane), Iona (Quinton), Gail, Murray, Myra (Wayne), and Michelle; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa (nee Krieger); his brothers Rommie and Randy, and his brother-in-law Gerry, as well as several close friends. Howard lived for his family, and treated friends likewise without discrimination, but with love. He worked hard as a mechanic and as a farmer to provide for his family. We will remember most his self-giving nature and big heart, despite his gruff appearance. One only had to ask and he would help with whatever was needed. He prided himself especially in his grandchildren, who filled him with joy. With his “spare time”, he loved to hunt, fish, and camp. His children have fond memories of the many camping trips they shared as a family. Howard gave his all for those around him, whether it was driving kids to hockey, making vehicles run, giving a good chuckle with his sharp sense of humour, or lending a helping hand at the drop of a hat. He will be very sorely missed, and well cherished in our hearts. We entrust him to the loving mercy of God, Who took him home too soon for us, but Who loves him most. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at the St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Leofeld, SK with Interment at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
