Graveside Service for Mr. Michael A. Hampton, 59 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Sterrs Cemetery with The Reverend Robert Brown officiating. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1 to 5 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Mr. Michael Anthony Hampton was born March 29, 1961 to the late Felix and Judy Hampton in Decatur, Alabama. He departed this life on May 28, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Mr. Hampton joined David Temple P.B. Church in Decatur, Alabama. He worked for Tennessee Valley Cotton Oil Mill for 16 years, then started working with his brother/best friend, Mr. Exson Williams (Business Contractor) for 10 years until his health failed him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one loving wife of 44 years, Mrs. Annie L. Hampton; three daughters, LaToya (Tevin) Hamlett, Pamela (Brant) Earskin and Mary Cunningham all of Decatur; four sisters, Barbara Bankston and Brenda Hampton both of Decatur, Pamela Hampton of Rockford, IL, Gwendolyn Guest of Decatur; four brothers, Larry Hodges of Trinity, AL, Felix Hampton, Jr. and Godfrey Hampton both of Decatur and Derrick Hampton of Birmingham, AL; 11 grandchildren, Tysheeka Johnson, Shyladrius Collin, TyGwendolyn Clack, Collin Smiley, Coby Abbott, Demarco Cunningham, Cameron Earskine, Cain Earskine, Kimiyan Hamlett, Kali and Khalil Cunningham; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
