Arnold Eugene Schattilly Obituary

Arnold Eugene Schattilly, 50, of Choteau, passed away April 27, 2020 after a short fight with liver failure, at the Benefis Peace Hospice in Great Falls, Montana.

Arnold was born November 10, 1969 in Tacoma, Washington to Jerald and Linda Schattilly.  He was one of six brothers and sisters.

Arnold met the love of his life Elly Thomas and the couple had 5 children Antonio, Amanda, Elizabeth Jerald and Little Arnold. In 2006 the family moved to Choteau, where Arnold worked for his dear friend, Gary Simonson, preforming lawn care and snow removal for the community.

Arnold was one of a kind. His Altruistic nature made it so Arnold never met someone he did not call friend. His life was spent in devotion to his family.  Arnold was proud to be a father and especially proud of all 21 of his grandbabies.  He could always be found bragging about the newest addition to his family.

Arnold is survived by his wife Elly of Choteau, his mother Linda of Fairfield, children Antonio Thomas of Longview, Washington, Amanda Thomas, Elizabeth K. Schattilly and Jerald E. Schattilly all of Choteau. He is also survived by 4 siblings and 21 grandchildren.

Arnold is pre deceased by his father, son, little Arnold and his sister, Jule Caldwell

In light of the current circumstances a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.  As Arnold would say “AMF”.
