<p>Ramona Fiechtner, 81, Gackle, ND died early Wednesday morning April 15, 2020 at her home in Gackle.</p> <p>Ramona Meidinger was born February 8, 1939 on the family farm near Venturia, ND, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Wolf) Meidinger.&nbsp; She received her elementary education in the local school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity while helping on the family farm.</p> <p>She and Harvey Fiechtner were married October 24, 1958 at St. Andrew&rsquo;s Lutheran Church in rural Zeeland, ND.&nbsp; They made their home on a farm NW of Fredonia, ND. &nbsp;In August of 1995 they moved into Gackle and Ramona worked at the Gackle Care Center.&nbsp; Following her retirement, they have continued to reside in Gackle.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, ND.</p> <p>Surviving are her husband, Harvey; 3 sons, Randy (Marie), Wydmere, ND; Bruce (Karla), Fredonia, ND; Bradley, Wahpeton, ND; 3 grandchildren; 3 greatgrandchildren and 1 sister, Rachel Meidinger, Wishek, ND.</p> <p>Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Walter, Milbert, Marvin, Melvin, Dale and one Leona</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Visitation- 9-11a Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Funeral Home in Gackle. The family appreciates your support at this time, please keep in mind that public gatherings are to be kept at a minimum (as per regulations set forth while dealing with Covid-19 nationwide)</p> <p>Graveside services will take place in the Fredonia Lutheran Cemetery, North of Fredonia, ND.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
