Burma Fay Boler Driskell Obituary
A private graveside service is planned for Mrs. Burma Fay Boler Driskell on Tuesday, April 21 at County Line Cemetery. Rev. David Jay will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home of Union is entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Driskell, 95, of Union, passed away Sunday at J.G. Alexander Nursing Facility. She was a homemaker who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Driskell was a Godly, amazing role model for her family and those of whom she would meet. She always thought of someone else, putting them ahead of herself. Mrs. Driskell was a great cook, whether cooking for her family or cooking for her church family at Country Line Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and His church and church family where she served in the choir and other activities.
Mrs. Driskell is survived by her children Larry Driskell (Margaret), Lavon Driskell (Chris), Winnie Ellis and Donna Smith (Mark); four grand children and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a half brother Clay Boler.
She was preceded in death by her parents H.C. “Ned” and Winnie Boler; husband O’Cona Driskell; brothers Buford and Gordon Boler and sister Annie Ruth Boler.
Pallbearers will be Justin Williams, Scott Driskell, John Burns, Daniel Clanton, Larry Driskell and Lavon Driskell.
