<p><span style="font-size:14px;">William Gary Grassmeier, 88, passed away on May 26, 2020 in St. George, UT.&nbsp; Bill was born on March 14, 1932 in Des Moines, IA to William (Bill) Albert Grassmeier and Julia Ann Vaux Grassmeier.</span></p> <p><br /> <span style="font-size:14px;">Bill married Kathleen Sabo in 1977.&nbsp; Bill and &ldquo;KT&rdquo; moved to the Moapa Valley in 1985.&nbsp; Bill&rsquo;s career started in the Army as a soldier in the Korean War.&nbsp; His Civil Service career spanned 35 years.&nbsp; He was a genuine, loyal friend and a compassionate caregiver.&nbsp; He was an amazing father and grandfather.&nbsp; If love measured a man, Bill was a mountain.</span></p> <p><br /> <span style="font-size:14px;">Bill is survived by his daughters, Debra (Richard) Loger and Stacy (Frank) Catalano; his grandchildren, Samantha (Mikael) Lujan, Richard Lee Loger, Jr., Sidnee Constance Loger, Garret Frank Catalano and Daniel William Catalano; his eight great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; His is preceded in death by his wife, KT Grassmeier, his&nbsp;parents, his sister, Shirley Beth Baird and his brother, John L.&nbsp;Grassmeier.</span></p> <p><br /> <span style="font-size:14px;">A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. that may be viewed via live-stream (link is found below). William Gary Grassmeier, 88, passed away on May 26, 2020 in St. George, UT.  Bill was born on March 14, 1932 in Des Moines, IA to William (Bill) Albert Grassmeier and Julia Ann Vaux Grassmeier.


Bill married Kathleen Sabo in 1977.  Bill and “KT” moved to the Moapa Valley in 1985.  Bill’s career started in the Army as a soldier in the Korean War.  His Civil Service career spanned 35 years.  He was a genuine, loyal friend and a compassionate caregiver.  He was an amazing father and grandfather.  If love measured a man, Bill was a mountain.
