<p>Mark L. Zeimet, 62, of Bristol, passed away suddenly on Saturday May 2, 2020 at his home of apparent heart attack.&nbsp; He was born October 16, 1957 in Evanston, Illinois to Edward M. &amp; Ruth E. (Nelson) Zeimet.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On December 17, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV he married Susan K. &ldquo;Sue&rdquo; VanZant.&nbsp; She survives along with 4 children, Mark S. (Gretta) Zeimet of Three Rivers, MI, Jennifer L. (Salvatore) Stalari of Goshen, IN, Kristin R. (Jeremy) Lail of Elkhart, IN, Mac J. (Hallie) Zeimet of Bristol, IN and a stepson John-Michael Korpal of Chicago, IL.&nbsp; Additional survivors include grandchildren; Jayley &amp; Jazlyn Zeimet of Three Rivers, MI, Tomisina, Vincenzo, Meriella &amp; Juliana Stalari of Goshen, IN, Presley Lail of Elkhart, IN, Porter Zeimet of Bristol, IN; 3 siblings John M. (Carol) Zeimet of New Haven, IN, Edward &ldquo;Chip&rdquo; (Linda) Zeimet of Ft. wayne, IN, Patricia A. Click of New Haven, IN; 1 niece, Emily Zeimet of New Haven, IN; 2 nephews, Jeremy (Megan) Zeimet of New Haven, IN, Josh (Polly) Zeimet of Ft. Wayne, IN.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his father, Edward M. Zeimet (June 20, 1996, his mother, Ruth (Nelson) Zeimet (Nov. 15, 1980) and a niece Sarah Click (2003).</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark started Zeimet Battery Company in 1977, going into business with his brothers.&nbsp; It became Summit Power Systems of Ft. Wayne in January of 2014 and was sold to Storage Battery Systems of W.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark was an expert in the field of Industrial Batteries and Chargers and he dearly loved what he did.&nbsp; Mark retired from Storage Battery Systems in October of 2019 and he recently worked for Actia of Elkhart.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark was an active member of St. Paul&rsquo;s United Methodist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees&rsquo;, was an usher and ran the sound system for many years.&nbsp; He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In&nbsp;keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken&nbsp;place and a celebration of life service will be at 2:30p.m.&nbsp;at St. Paul&rsquo;s United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 18, 2021.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. ~ 2:30 p.m.&nbsp; Entombment will be private at a later date.&nbsp; Pastor Tom DeFries will be officiating.&nbsp; Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with his care.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The family has requested that any memorial contributions be given to St. Paul&rsquo;s United Methodist Church.</p>

I had the pleasure of meeting & interacting with Mark at ACTIA Corp. Mark always spoke lovingly of his wife and family. Mark was a gentlemen and a joy to know, always ready with a smile and cheerful attitude. My condolences to you and may God bless you.
