Martin M. Borkowski Obituary

Martin Michael Borkowski, age 67 of North Versailles, passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2020 at home. He was the oldest son of Theodore and Margaret (Householder) Borkowski who predeceased him. He was born September 24, 1952 in Natrona Heights, Pa. He is survived by two sons, David (Marie) of Columbus, Oh and Daniel of Parma, Oh and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his companion, Theresa Frankiewicz with whom he resided and one sister, Kathleen of Allison Park and two brothers, Edward of Jenkintown, Pa and Theodore (Cindy) of Florida , two aunts, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marty was a 1970 graduate of Highlands High School and a 1975 graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. He was in his 44th year in the pharmacy profession. He was on the PA Board of ASCAP and a member of the Steel City Fins (Pgh Parrothead Club). He enjoyed reading, boating on Lake Erie, fishing, watching the Penguins and the Steelers, traveling and listening to music. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop 517, Natrona Heights.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the McKeesport Lions Club, 100 5th Avenue, McKeesport, Pa 15132. Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332, on Friday, June 5th from 5pm to 8pm. Additional visitation on Saturday, June 6th from 9am till the time of service at noon.  There will be a 25 person limit on occupancy in the funeral home due to the current health crisis.
