<p>George Wheeless Hay passed away on February 24, 2020 at his home at the age of 79.</p> <p>George was born in Natchez, MS&nbsp;on May 10, 1940.&nbsp; He attended Chamberlain Hunt Academy and graduated from Port Gibson High School in 1958.&nbsp; He was a professional water skier with Pappy Hollowell Ski Show, Tommy Bartlett Ski Show and Cypress Gardens.&nbsp; He was a member of the Air National Guard.&nbsp; He was a salesman with Ashland Chemical Company, and then served as owner and operator of O. K. Cleaners in Port Gibson until he retired.&nbsp; He was a past president of Claiborne County Ducks Unlimited.&nbsp;He loved duck hunting, golf and life at Lake Claiborne.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Eunice Hay and his brother-in-law, Ed Pope.</p> <p>He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia; his sister Alice Pope of Kingwood, Texas; his children Michelle Coccaro (John) of Vicksburg, Tina (Brad) Eichelberger of Forest; his grandchildren Johnna (Stephen) Riddick of Madison, Patrick Coccaro of McComb, Danielle Bergeron of Vicksburg, and his great-granddaughter Lynley Riddick.&nbsp; He is also survived by his nephews, Bill and Mark Pope of Texas.</p>

George Wheeless Hay passed away on February 24, 2020 at his home at the age of 79.

George was born in Natchez, MS on May 10, 1940.  He attended Chamberlain Hunt Academy and graduated from Port Gibson High School in 1958.  He was a professional water skier with Pappy Hollowell Ski Show, Tommy Bartlett Ski Show and Cypress Gardens.  He was a member of the Air National Guard.  He was a salesman with Ashland Chemical Company, and then served as owner and operator of O.
