Thomas A. White, age 58, of Lawson, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 26th, 2020 with his family by his side, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO

Thomas was born on April 30th, 1962 to Roger and Diana (Bowker) White in Olathe, KS.  He grew up and attended High School in Osawatomie, KS.  Thomas went on to serve our country in the United States Army from December 29th, 1980 until his Honorable Discharge on December 28th, 1987.  While stationed in Atlanta, GA, he was united in marriage to Kimberly Nascimben of Detroit, MI.  Together, they were stationed in Germany for the remainder of his service.  Following his Honorable Discharge, Thomas and Kim moved to Lawson, MO, where they have resided for the past 31 years.

Thomas was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways until 2002, and eventually went on to become an Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement in 2007. Thomas took great pride in supporting the community of Polo as a youth coach in little league baseball and high school softball.  He also served as the president of the Polo Athletic Booster Club.  Thomas enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Patriot Guard.  More than anything, Thomas loved raising his kids and watching them excel.

Thomas was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Wright.  Survivors: wife, Kim of the home; daughter, Angel (Ben) Barnett of Kearney; son, Thomas Jr. (Molly) White of Savannah; daughter, L’Eryn (Scott) Hahn of Olathe, KS; grandchildren: Dominic, Nevaeh, Olivia, Abigail, Triniti and Greyson; brother, Andy (Amy) Wright of Paola, KS; sister, Becky (Kevin) Renner of Osawatomie, KS; and brothers Matt and  Jason White; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Polo Athletic Boosters to support their annual scholarship fund.
