Shelia Laris Utley, age 73, of Roosevelt, passed away May 26, 2020, at her home.
    She was born February 19, 1947, in Roosevelt, to Clifton George Laris and LaRue Emily Rawlings.  She married Edward LeRoy Utley, and they later divorced.
    She worked many jobs to support her children, including working as a CNA at the hospital for several years as well as a crossing guard near the old Jr. High.  She enjoyed going to the mountains, crocheting, needlework, and coloring books.  She loved her children and her grandchildren and would do anything for them.  She was a loving and concerned sister to her two brothers.  
    Shelia is survived by her children, Kevin (Melissa) Utley, Wisconsin; Steven Utley (Karen Brelan), Roosevelt; Angela (Harold) Gehrt, Wisconsin; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Larry J (Gail) Allred, Roosevelt; Allen (Maxine) Laris, West Jordan; and numerous nieces & nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her sister, Larraine Jones and her parents.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.. at the Hullinger Mortuary.  There will be a visitation at the mortuary from 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. Due to COVID -19, this service will be for family and close friends.  Please use your discretion.  Also, the services will be live-streamed at www.hullingermortuary.com on Shelia’s obituary page.  
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
