<p>Roosevelt &ldquo;Rosey&rdquo; Patterson Sr., age 73 of White Hall, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the VA Hospital. He was born December 27, 1946 to the late Eddie Patterson Sr.and Earnestine Walker Patterson in Gethsemane, Arkansas. Rosey graduated from J.S. Walker High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era from 1967 through 1969 where he served as a sniper and was honorably discharged. He loved spending time and cooking on the grill for his family, loved bowling, enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was known for how good his deer meat turned out. He joined First Pentacostal Church in Tucker, Arkansas under the leadership of Elder A.A. Clinger. He was baptisized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1967. Roosevelt worked as a mechanic for Dowing oil company and also did farming. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Ferda.&nbsp;Roosevelt is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Ella Smith Walker; three brothers, Van, Tommy and Bobby; two sisters, Icyreen and Eddie Mae.</p> <p>Roosevelt is survived by his two son, Roosevelt Patterson Jr., of Little Rock, Arkansas and Marcus Patterson of Dallas, Texas; four daughters, Veronica Patterson, Wonda Faye Patterson, Sharon Polk and Valco Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, Roy Seals (Edna), Eddie Patterson (Easter), and Henry Patterson (Bunny); two sisters, Gertrude Adway and Joann James (John) both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one uncle, James Walker Sr,; 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two special God Sons, and a host of neices and nephew and other family. Rosey will be missed by all who knew him.</p> <p>Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Nellum Cemetery England, Arkansas with Minister Kenneth Fisher officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2020 in the chapel of Wilson Robison Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Julius Seals, Julian Seals, Van Robinson Jr. Glendary Carter, Jimmy Reed Jr. and Andre Jones Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Joan James, Roy Seals, Eddie Patterson, Henry Patterson, Marcus Patterson and Roosevelt Patterson Jr.&nbsp;There will be a limit of 50 guests and all guest over the age of 10 must wear a face covering and social distancing guidelines will be in place inside the funeral home, funeral home does not provide face masks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
