<p>Cathy J. Miller, 65, of Medina, NY passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.</p> <p>Born on August 14, 1954 in Albion, NY, she was the daughter of Verona (Reed) Pritchard and the late Donald Pritchard.</p> <p>Cathy graduated a year early from Medina High School, Class of 1971, so she could marry the love of her life, the late Ronald J. Miller. Together they made their home in Medina and raised three sons. At first, Cathy was a stay at home mother, until the 1980&rsquo;s when she worked as a classroom aide at Towne Elementary School and lastly worked as an Accountant for the Public Health Department of Orleans County from which she retired in November of 2016. Even after her retirement, Cathy&rsquo;s care and commitment continued as she served as a consultant advocating for disadvantaged children. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and socializing with her group of tightly-knit friends, catering several parties with them. Most of all, Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.</p> <p>Cathy is survived by her Mother, Verona Pritchard of Medina NY, three sons, Jeffrey (Marcy Paron) of Atlanta GA, Timothy Miller of Richmond VA, Kristofer Miller of Albany NY, five grandchildren, Nate, Carter, Isabel, Zachary, Edith, a brother, Donald (Susan) Pritchard of Mendon NY and many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>There are no calling hours. Due to precautions associated with the pandemic, a memorial will be planned by family for a future date.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Cathy&rsquo;s name to the Orleans County Child Family Services, Attn: Jeanie Larkin, 14016 Rt.31, Albion NY 14411.</p> <p>Arrangements were entrusted to the Bogan &amp; Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103. Cathy was a supportive and giving friend. I am lucky to have had her in my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family members, loved ones, and close friends. I will think of Cathy every time I have a glass of wine.

Mrs. Miller was a wonderful person and we really enjoyed her visits to see Edith when she came to Richmond. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Miller family during this difficult time.

Such a beautiful Lady with a smile that lit up a room.  I worked with Mrs. Miller for a short time, but also knew her from her boys.  R.I.P.
