Cynthia Ann Jacobs, 72, a resident of the Beaverton community, died Saturday morning, May 23, 2020 at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Private Cremation Rites were held at the Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. CYNTHIA ANN JACOBS was born September 25, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth Crawford and Mary (Reams) Crawford. She was raised and received her education in the Columbus, Ohio and Glendale, Arizona communities, having been a graduate of the Glendale High School Class of 1966. She later attended Portland Community College. She was united in marriage to Donald Wills Jacobs on October 17, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. They had celebrated their 19th Wedding Anniversary before Don’s passing in 2000. Following their marriage, they resided in the communities of Beaverton and Hillsboro, Oregon until 1997 when they moved to the Forest Grove community. In 2017 Cynthia moved to Beaverton. Cynthia worked as the office administrator for the Hillsboro Public Works for many years. Among her special interests, she enjoyed gardening, antiquing and Reiki Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jacobs, and by her three brothers Kenneth, Mark and Michael Crawford. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Rebecca and Jonan Scheffler and Erin Jacobs of Beaverton, Oregon; along with her sister, Mary Kathleen Crawford in Otis, Oregon. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Mary Warner, Ashley Hawes, Kaja, Tavin and Rook Scheffler and two great-grandchildren, Kamille and Meralin Warner.
