Ruth Naomi Foster Dimsdale, 87, of Rutherfordton passed away on May 25, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Ruth was the daughter of the late Dora Estelle Johnson of Rutherfordton and Robert Lawrence Foster of Marion. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Millard. Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Candace Millard Stevens and husband Ronald of Rutherfordton, granddaughters; Michelle Denise Baldwin and husband Joshua of Boiling Springs, SC., Amanda Rae Holland and husband Steven of Rutherfordton, and Beth Elizabeth Millard of Grover, SC., great-grandsons, Owen, Maddox and Kolton, sisters, Mary Lane and husband Larry of Rutherfordton, Mickey Duncan and husband Babe of Rutherfordton, a brother Thomas Dalton of Phoenix AZ, six nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service is planned for Thursday May 28, 2020 at Restoration Church of Forest City (133 Gardenbrook Drive Forest City, NC 28043) at 2PM.
