Edward “Eddie” Jones, 78, of Ravenden passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Memphis, TN. He was born March 13, 1942 in Ravenden Springs to the late James and Lela Horsman Jones. Eddie and Barbara Holland were united in marriage on March 31, 1961. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lela Jones; and four brothers, Junior, W.H., Leon, and Bill. He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; one daughter, Mary (Jay) King of Delaplaine; three sons, Johnny & Ronnie Jones of Pocahontas, and Jerry (Mary) Jones of Ravenden; six grandchildren, Danielle, Jerad, Kyle, Ashley, Michael, and Dakota; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Weiss and Margaret (Davis) Matthews of Imboden, and Phyllis (Bob) Blackshire of Atkins; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 10-11 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Bob Blackshire officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Kyle Jones, Dakota Jones, Michael King, Blake Jones, Tracy Jones, and Corey Matthews. Honorary Pallbearers include: Ross Winberry, Harold Ray Brown, and Landon Bowman.
