<p style="text-align: justify;">Junius Thomas Hayes, 94, husband of the late Louella Powell Hayes, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Hayes was born on September 17, 1925 in Florence County, son of the late Thado R. Hayes and Alma Campbell Hayes. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II.&nbsp; Mr. Hayes was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church in Pamplico and was retired from Delta Mills.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Surviving are his daughters, Joyce (Thurston) McCutcheon and Faye (Hubert) Daniels and Linda (Charles) Hanna, of Effingham; stepson, Larry Poston of Scranton; and a grandson, Cody (Clarissa) Poston of Scranton; step grandchildren, Robert Poston, Tony Poston and Timmy Poston, all of Scranton.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by a sister, Veda Collins.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 28, 2020, at St. John Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Pamplico.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>

Junius Thomas Hayes, 94, husband of the late Louella Powell Hayes, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at McLeod Hospice House, Florence.

Mr. Hayes was born on September 17, 1925 in Florence County, son of the late Thado R. Hayes and Alma Campbell Hayes. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II.  Mr. Hayes was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church in Pamplico and was retired from Delta Mills.
