James Donald Musgrave passed away May 22, 2020 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Loving Cemetery with a memorial service later this summer after the virus threat has subsided. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Don was born April 27, 1938 in Young County, Texas to James O. and Martha Gertrude Tubbs Musgrave. He was a retired radiator shop owner and truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ. Don served in the U.S. Navy in the Philippines.
Survivors include nieces, Eugena Cagle Williams, Dodie Bishop Grinnell and Lynne Hyman Mizer; nephews, Kenneth Eugene Musgrave, James C. “Clif” Cagle, Justin Souther and Arthur Dean Souther; cousins, Norman Musgrave, Eddie Musgrave, Deb Musgrave Davis, Don Howe and Joyce Sparks; step sister, Hazel Moore; step brother, Cotton Shepard and sister in law, Ardell Souther.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sandra Jo Souther Musgrave, siblings, Dorothy Musgrave Bishop, Juanita Musgrave Cagle, Arvin Ray Musgrave, Linda Pauline Musgrave; step brothers, Edward Shepard, Don Shepard, and Jimmy Shepard; nieces, Carolyn Louise Bishop Spradley, Evelyn Ann Cagle Stucker, Trudie Musgrave and nephew Samuel Arvin Musgrave.
