Kathryn Ann Schnakenberg

<p>Kathryn Ann Schnakenberg, 72, met Jesus on August 11, 2019 (Farmington, NM).&nbsp; Born October 10th 1946 in Los Angeles, California, she was the oldest daughter of Julian and Cherry Furtek. Growing up our mother would be known as a military brat. She moved often with her three siblings; Kenneth, Sharon and Sandy. During her high school years in Warrensburg, Missouri she met Steve Schnakenberg. They married after high school and had three children, Robin (Roger) Collins, Scott Schnakenberg, Sean (Kari) Schnakenberg. She loved being a grandmother to five grandkids, Krista, Mikayla, Carson, Cassie and Chloe.&nbsp; Kathy will be remembered as a compassionate person who had lots of love and compliments to give. She was very talented and creative. Her God given talents included but not limited to: sewing, crocheting, painting, drawing, cooking, baking (especially custard pie), gardening, cutting and styling hair. In her early years she began a career in the beauty industry but that career gave way to helping her spouse in his endeavors. She was very generous with her talents and time. She was our number one fan and had high aspirations for us. We will miss her dearly. We would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Barkman and Dr. Bessinger, thank you for truly caring for our mother. A private ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Aztec Senior Center where she enjoyed going to eat and to visit.</p>
