Cherie Ann Apili Obituary

Cherie Ann Viernes Apili

At the age of 45, Cherie Ann Viernes Apili reconnected with Jesus Christ peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020 at St. Marguerite Manor & Dulcina Hospice - Covenant Care.

Cherie Ann was born on June 18, 1974 and grew up in Kiangan, Ifugao together with her five siblings. She graduated from Lorma Colleges located in the City of San Fernando, La Union with a bachelor’s degree of Nursing in year 1993. At an early age, she took a chance on going overseas and working there to fund the educational needs of her younger siblings.

Upon growing up, she was a responsible daughter and very dedicated on helping her family to get through the poverty they were experiencing back then. Migrating from one place to another is not easy as Cherie Ann faced new struggles in life, but she never surrendered. With unending faith, Cherie Ann proved that there is no impossible in life. She continued to strive for the better by learning from her experiences and stepping out her comfort zone.

Cherie Ann was never afraid of taking on an adventure, the reason why she met a lot of people that adored and loved her. She was perceived by others as a jolly and humorous person as she never failed to make them laugh. She loved listening to country songs together with her siblings and never missed any of the celebrations held by her friends as she treated them also as one of her families that she is fond with. Taking videos and photos was Cherie Ann’s things because she wanted to cherish the memories she had together with her loved ones.

Despite the difficulties she experienced in life, not even once she ever decided to give up and get herself eaten up with it. Her kindness and bravery made her who she was as a person and even influenced other people to continue living even though life could be miserable sometimes.

Cherie Ann was deeply loved by her family, relatives, and friends. She was an incredible sister, aunt, friend, and child of God. Her beautiful smile, humorous jokes and positive vibes will be missed by many.

You will always be loved, Cherie Ann.
