Luis E. Vargas (Eddie), 50, of Washington, NJ passed away suddenly on May 25, 2020 at home. Luis was born on January 3, 1970 in San Jose, Costa Rica to the late Ricardo Vargas-Blanco and Mercedes Gutierrez- Toruno. Luis was educated in Costa Rica and moved to the United States in 1987. He was employed as a Chef for the Key City Diner in Phillipsburg, NJ for the past 18 years. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a simple man living a simple life. Luis is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Toni "Billotti" Vargas; A son, Joseph Vargas and his wife Melanie; A daughter, Samantha Vargas and her husband Joseph; Brothers, Diego Vargas and Gabriel Vargas; Sisters, Jenny Vargas and Rebecca Vargas. 4 grandchildren. Due to public gathering restrictions, services will be announced at a later date.
