<p><br /> Mr. Cary Hudson was born on December 29, 1936, to the late Alphonso and Bettie Lee Hudson, Sr. in Madison County. He departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers, Lemmie and Tony Hudson, and daughter, Bettie Jo Hudson.<br /> <br /> He graduated from Madison Training School, and worked as a forklift driver, 35 years for Gold Kist.</p> <p>Mr. Hudson was described as a hardworking, quiet, reserved man of few words.&nbsp; He enjoyed playing the piano, fishing, gardening and fixing cars.&nbsp;</p> <p><br /> Mr. Cary Hudson leaves to cherish his memories: A devoted and loving wife of 61 years: Mrs. Mertha Lee Hudson; children: Kenneth and Clifford Hudson (Madison, Florida), Lillie Whitfield (Albany, Georgia), Cheryl (Melvin) Dixon (Lee, Florida), Tony (LaTronda) Hudson (Tampa, FL); grandchildren: Jessica Whitfield, Jeremy (Alexis) Johnson, Justin (Kearea) Johnson,&nbsp; Brianna (Chaz) Pridgeon, Larry Whitfield, Jr., Sha&rsquo;Kierra Hudson, Tyresha Hudson; great grand children: Martinaz Whitfield, Mercion Whitfield, Emery Johnson, Serenity Johnson, Levy Whitfield, Jace Johnson, Amani Gainey, Devonn Sowell, Journee Sowell;&nbsp; Siblings: Bishop Hudson (Fort Lauderdale, Florida),&nbsp; Alphonso Hudson, Jr. (Madison, Florida); Uncle: J.W. Johnson (Jacksonville, Florida); Sisters-in-law: Eva Lee (Augustus) Stevenson (Madison, Florida), Cora Hudson (Jacksonville, Florida), Lula Jean Moore (Lee, Florida); Special cousins: Naomi Anderson, Pauleen Miller, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.</p>
