Daniel “Dan-o” Joe Nichols of Conyers, Georgia passed away, not of Covid-19, Friday, May 22, 2020 at the age of 67.  Dan was originally from Crawfordsville, IN.  He was a graduate of Darlington Indiana High School where he played basketball all four years. Dan was a star basketball player for the Purple Aces at the University of Evansville, Indiana.  He relocated to Georgia as an employee for Lithonia Lighting/Cincom Systems in 1985.  While working Dan also owned and ran a local favorite, Nick’s Bar and Grill in Lithonia, GA. 

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Betty Nichols brother, Richard all from Indiana and step son, Joseph “JoJo” Sullivan of Buckhead, GA.  He will be forever cherished by his wife of 22 years, Allison Wallace Nichols of Conyers, GA sister, Jean and husband Bob Morgan nephew, Eric and wife Carolyn Morgan, nephew Aaron Morgan and niece Suzie Nichols all of Indiana. 

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
