Eleanor Dyke, 88, of Weston, Ohio passed away November 17, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Eleanor was born on March 22, 1930 to the late Raymond and Nellie (Justice) Scaggs in Huntington, West Virginia. She married Cletys Dyke on June 21, 1946 in Napoleon, Ohio and he survives.

Eleanor was a longtime member of the Weston Church of Christ. She was the typical farm wife helping out where ever she was needed. Eleanor loved traveling to Florida in their motor home and being on the beach as well as boating and camping along the Maumee River. She loved to square dance and belonged to the Square Dance Club in Weston for many years. Eleanor was always on the move, was always upbeat, and loved helping and caring for others. Her family was the most important part of her life and she will be greatly missed by all.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 72 years, Cleyts; daughter: Colleen (Bob) Clark of Grand Rapids, Ohio; sons: Raymond (Tammy) Dyke of High Point, North Carolina; Frank (Mona) Dyke of Swanton, Ohio; William Dyke of McClure, Ohio; nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Frank Rado, and son Ronald Eugene.

Visitation for Eleanor will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of her funeral service at 12:00 PM in the Weston Church of Christ, 13355 Center Street, Weston, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow in Weston Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Eleanor’s honor may be gifted to the Weston Church of Christ.
