Melvin J. Miller, 72, of Huntsburg, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 25th, 2020 at his home and surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chardon, OH on July 11th, 1947 to the late John J. and Mary M. (Miller) Miller. Melvin later married Mary M. Miller on October 17th, 1972. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and Bishop of the Pleasant Valley Church District.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 47 years, Mary; children, Linda (Daniel Ray) Byler, Emma (Paul) Byler, Betty (Johnny) Miller, John (Rebecca) Byler, Owen (Martha) Miller; 35 grandchildren; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Melvin is preceded in death by: his parents, 2 brothers; and 5 sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:30 A.M., WEDNESDAY, MAY 27TH, 2020 AT 15885 DURKEE RD., HUNTSBURG with Minister Lester L. Mullet Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Fred Hostetler, Andy Byler, Reuben Miller, and Joseph Hostetler. Visitation will be anytime until the time of service at 15890 Durkee Rd., Huntsburg, OH 44046. Melvin’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, OH. In lieu of attending, please send a card to the visitation address above.
