LYMAN, John Lewis Sr. “Jack” – of Clio, age 87, died Monday, May 25, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc. Honoring John’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kirkridge Presbyterian Church in Grand Blanc, Michigan Jack was born March 25, 1933 in Erie Pennsylvania to the late Albert and Agnes (Lewis) Lyman. He grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Flint Northern High School with the class of 1951. Jack served his country in the US Navy. On July 9, 1955 he married Josephine Smith in Flint, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 1990, Jack worked for Nabisco for 30 years as a Sales Representative. He was a member of the Kirkridge Presbyterian Church in Grand Blanc. Jack was a member of the Grocery Manufacturers’ Representatives. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid sports fan. Jack loved spending time with his family and all his grandchildren. Surviving are: Wife of 64 years Josephine; Children, Sheri (Gene) Hanson, Karen (Jeff) Rivera, John (Heidi) Lyman Jr.; Grandchildren, Jamie Malo, Kevin James, Melissa James, Thomas James; Great Grandchildren, Briauna, Gavin, Asher, Maizee, Aynzlee; Sister, Jean Smith; several nieces and nephews.
