Mrs. Charlotte Roberts Jones, age 90, of Owingsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday evening May 24, 2020 at her residence.

She was born January 10, 1930 in Bath County to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Shields Roberts.

After graduating high school she attended Morehead State University where she studied business.  She worked many years keeping the books for their tobacco warehouse business.  When she wasn't helping on the farm she enjoyed tending to her flowers, canning and spending time with her beloved family.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, David Jones who passed away October 30, 2018 and one brother Walter Roberts.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Ann Ingram (Rick) of Owingsville and Monica Camenisch (Steve) of Salisbury, Indiana, two brothers, David Roberts (Elizabeth) of Owingsville and Enoch Roberts (Phyllis) of Lexington, one sister Lena Carter (Claude) of Owingsville and one sister in law, Maggie Roberts of Lexington, eight grandchildren, Bridget Dasch, Chris Camenisch (Emily), Nanci Camenisch, Nicole Leffler (Lance), Brianne Bailey (Josiah), Noelle, Camenisch, Karina Watson (Josh) and Samuel Camenisch, twenty one great grandchildren and her special cat Pepper.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Owingsville Christian Church with Rev. Lowell Rice and Dr. Sean Bailey officiating.

Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery on Tunnel Hill Road in Owingsville.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers will include, Oscar Shields, Doug Stone, John Duncan, Howard David Stone and Donald Brewer.

Contributions are suggested to the Owingsville Christian Church building fund.
