Michael Muscillo

Michael Luke Muscillo, longtime resident of Royal Oak, died peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on May 22, 2020. He was 78 years of age. Michael was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1942, son of the late Luke and Lena (Chiarelli) Muscillo. He was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Kathleen Mary Shea, on April 14, 1967 at St. Rita Catholic Church of Detroit. The couple made their home in Royal Oak and was blessed with four children of whom he loved and cherished. Michael was a Fire Fighter for Madison Heights for 15 years. After his retirement, he worked as a Realtor Manager for Century 21 of Royal Oak for many years until owning and operating Home Check Inspections. His hardworking hands, always remained busy. Michael was an excellent cook and loved building and racing snowmobiles. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends. A strong, intelligent and disciplined man, Michael lived his life with purpose and love. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren, treasuring every moment shared in their company. Michael will be deeply missed and his light will continue to glow in our hearts forever. Michael is the devoted husband of 53 years to Kathleen; dearest father of Anthony (Jennifer), Vincent (Rebecca), Meghan and the late Michael Luke II; cherished grandfather of Roman, Anna and Tristano; and beloved brother of Theresa Cosenza.
